I’m excited to announce that Stephanie Pedraza will be returning to Edmonton for a weekend workshop in flamenco dance and song on Dec 5th and 6th, 2015 following her performance in our festival fundraiser “Flamenco” live at the Arts Barns on December 4th.

This will be Stephanie’s seventh time in Edmonton giving classes.  Her past workshops have received rave reviews. Students learn a short choreography and have the chance to work with cante (song) and compás (rhythm).

These workshops are open to the greater flamenco community.  Some previous flamenco experience is required.

Introductory level – At least 4 previous classes of flamenco dance (from any teacher) are a pre-requisite for this class.

Beginner through Advanced levels – These classes are not for Introductory level students. Previous experience with the 12 count is required. Please note that the Intermediate/Advanced level is aimed at students with 3 or more years of flamenco learning behind them.

If you are unable to make both days or would like to add classes to your level there is also the option to register for individual classes.

Early-bird registration deadline: November 13th
